There was great excitement as the pupils of Kiltealy N.S. were asked to cheer on the An Post Rás na mBan participants as they whizzed past our school on Friday afternoon.
Welcome to our new Junior Infants who have settled into school very well. Our Senior Infants did a great job helping the new Junior Infants.

Clothes Collection:
Thank you for your continued support of our clothes collection. Our next collection will be on Monday 21st November. The shelter will be open during school hours for the week prior to this date.

Welcome back to all our pupils, parents and staff . We would especially like to welcome our new Junior Infants:Paul Armstrong, Jodi Brennan, Darragh Cullen, Patrick Ryan Dunbar, Fionn Hanrahan, Roisin Jordan, Abbie O’ Donovan, Robyn O’Donovan, Anne-Marie Roche, Jack Quirke and Hannah Watchorn. We would also like to welcome Jamie to Senior Infants, Charles to 2nd Class and Kevin to 5th Class.
We would like to welcome Ms. Niamh Kehoe who will be teaching 1st and 2nd classes. We would also like to welcome Ms. Breda Waters to our school as our 3rd SNA. Welcome back to Ms. Dowling who is returning after maternity leave.
The Paired Reading project proved to be enjoyable and beneficial.All of the pupils took part. Congratulations to all of our busy readers.
A busy but great day was had by all.
The infant classes enjoyed their picnic. The event was held inside this year.
Our winning team….well done to all who participated in the recent blitz in Coolree. Kiltealy were worthy winners of the cup final defeating Caim by the narrowest of margins!
Third and Fourth Classes had great fun planting vegetables in our school garden. We planted peas,potatoes, onions, lettuce, carrots and parsnips. Thank you to Mr. Hanrahan for teaching us how to sow the vegetables. We have lots of volunteers to go and water the vegetables every day!!!
