Classes from 1st-6th were treated to some science workshops during our Science Week.

1st and 2nd learned all about Electricity

3rd & 4th got in tune with all things Space Related.

5th & 6th got into the gory details of how the Digestive System Works

Well done to all pupils in 5th & 6th classes who, in keeping with tradition, produced fantastic Christmas Projects again this year.

It was a difficult task voting and results were tight. Congratulations to the winners and all involved.

Board of Management News

A Board of Management meeting was held last Tuesday night. News for your attention is as follows:

Brix 4 Kidz workshops will return to the school in early March.

After a hugely successful first season last year The Funky Kidz Workshop has been booked again for the school year 2018/2019.

New GAA goalposts will be erected in the coming months for use in the finer summer weather.

A Retirement Mass will be held to celebrate the retirement of Mrs. Biddy O’Leary as caretaker of our school.

Next BOM meeting will take place on March 13th.
