Our school has just received its second Green Flag.Congratulations to Mrs Duff and all school staff on this achievement.The school continues to work on our Green Schools initiative by further developing the School Garden and the Outdoor Classroom

Kiltealy School promotes a happy culture for pupils and staff thereby creating the best learning environment.At our schools request the pupils and teachers completed a one day training on bullying prevention.The training day was facilitated by the Department of Education.It was an enjoyable and successful day.This year our school will continue to focus on keeping Kiltealy School a Bully Free Zone.

The Christmas Card Project is well on its way.This project offers all students the opportunity to create their own personalised Christmas cards.Thses cards will be available to purchase.More information to follow after the designs have gone to print.

The Junior and Senior classes were busy creating Roald Dahl characters and each pupil created their very own octopus.

Second and Third classes have been busy making turtles and promoting inclusivity.Being included and working as a team fosters a happy and productive learning environment.

Fifth and Sixth created lovely Personality Silhouettes and they welcome us to their classroom by reminding us that 5th and 6th make a great team.

Congratulations to Ms O Neill and all pupils and staff who helped the school to achieve its first Active Flag.It is a big accomplishment which involved a lot of work from staff and teachers.
