Spring Clean 2024
As part of our Green Schools theme, Biodiversity, the school has to hold an action day.
This is where the whole school is involved in achieving a target set out in our action plan. Our target was to spring clean the grounds of the school, cleaning up the habitats of the living things that live in our school. The children also took tart in a bug hunt as part of the action day.
Our 5-a-side girls and boys teams were in action recently in Gorey. Both teams performed really well with Lucy Brennan on form as top scorer for the school on the day.

5th & 6th Class celebrated their Sacrament of Confirmation on March 22nd where they received the gift of the Holy Spirit. Congratulations to all.

Seachtain na Gaeilge 1 – 15 Márta 2024
Activities included- our CéilÃ, Gaeilgeoir na Seachtaine, Tráth na gCeist, our Lá Glas and the windows were decorated in time for the St. Patricks Day parade in the village. Comhgairdeachas do na dhaltaà go léir.

Well done to all the boys and girls who dressed up for World Book Day!
Our Annual Readathon concluded on World Book Day and we enjoyed a fabulous day of fancy dress on Friday 8th March in celebration of its success. Well done to all team members. 690 books were read in total over the 5 week period. Team Rowling emerged the overall winners. Congratulations to all.
