Swimming will begin Tuesday the 31st of January. Children from 2nd to 6th class attend swimming lessons in the Waterfront Leisure Centre in Enniscorthy. Children travel to and from Enniscorthy by bus, which is supervised by teachers from the school.
The swimming coaches place the children into groups of similar swimming abilities enabling them to make steady progress throughout the lessons.
The swimming lessons run for 8 weeks and all children who have attended receive a certificate at the end of the 8 weeks.
On the 19th and 20th of December, after three months of practice, the children finally put on their Funky Kids Concert for all their family and friends.
